NECK OF THE WOODS IS HIRING!!

Job description:
Neck of the Woods is currently seeking a second teacher for their early childhood education program in the 1 year old toddler Classroom. We are serving the Mad River Community and Central Vermont region. We are interested in hiring someone who has experience working with children ages 0-5. Our hours of operation are 7:45am-4:45pm. Familiarity with emergent curriculum, Reggio Emilia, child development, strengths based behavior management and a community-based philosophy is a perk. All staff must meet state licensing requirements for employment, pass a background check, and be fingerprinted before beginning to work with children. Please send your resume, 2 references, and include a statement in your cover letter that includes your teaching philosophy, and your views on working in a team-teaching scenario.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Providing strengths-based care, play, and learning to local children 6 weeks to 12 years to help guide their development as healthy, positive, resilient members of the community.

Neck of the Woods Early Education Center will be bringing films from the 2025 Mountainfilm Festival in Telluride Colorado right to Waitsfield VT! Lots of great short films for all ages! Get your tickets now as this event sells out every year!
3:00 matinee and 7:00 evening shows. There will be a 50/50 raffle, a raffle for a 25/26 Ski Pass to Mad River Glen (which are sold out!!) and a silent auction with items from your favorite local businesses.
