📚 School is starting, ❄️ winter is coming… and it’s time to think snow!

The GMVS Junior Race Program registration is OPEN!

Give your young skier the chance to grow, have fun, and reach their potential with up to 6 days a week of training on Sugarbush’s world-class terrain.

With the GMVS Junior Race Program, your child will:

🇫🇷 Summer training for our junior racers in Les Deux Alpes is looking pretty nice 💪

🇫🇷 Les Deux Alpes Camp is ON!

Our junior athletes have kicked off 8 incredible days of summer training in the heart of the French Alps 🏔️

On the hill they are diving into both technical freeskiing and gate training with some of the best coaches around.

Off the hill, they’re exploring alpine villages, building friendships, and soaking up the unique mountain culture that makes this camp so special.

Kick off your summer training with GMVS and an Indoor SL Camp at Big Snow, NJ!

Two sessions available for U8-U14 athletes (but filling quickly!):

📅 Session 1: July 10–11, 2025
📅 Session 2: August 7–8, 2025
📍 Location: Big Snow, NJ
👥 Led by: GMVS Junior Program & Academy Coaches

This camp focuses on SL fundamentals with two 2-hour training sessions per day, plus video review and agility training.

Yesterday our Junior Race Program athletes teamed up for an action-packed Scavenger Hunt Competition & Employee Appreciation Day! Led by our amazing coaches, small teams raced across the resort 🏔️, checking off trails and tackling fun challenges along the way—think human SL and pyramids, dance-offs, tracking down GMVS alumni coaches, and even a wild round of wheelbarrows on skis (crazy, right?!)
Not only did our athletes put their skiing and teamwork skills to the test, but they also took time to celebrate the incredible Sugarbush staff who keep the mountain running smoothly all season long 🙌
🙏 A huge shout out and thank you to the families who contributed treats for the goodie bags!
👀 AND..Looking ahead, we’ve got some races on the horizon and a whole lot of training before the season comes to a close 👏

Today, our parents and athletes packed goodies bags 🎁 and crafted thoughtful cards to celebrate the incredible staff who keep the mountain running all season long!
A huge thank you to the entire Sugarbush team—we couldn’t do what we love without you! See you all on the hill tomorrow (with goodies in hand 🤩)

Many hands make light work 🙏. A huge thank you to the GMVS community who pulled down b-net on Inverness on Saturday (in record time?!?!) in preparation of this epic snowstorm that delivered the goods. It was a feel good weekend in more ways than one ❄️

Finding fun outside of the course is a big part of what we do, and with a big storm on the horizon, trees and drops are calling!

From start to finish our athletes gave it their all on our home hill ➡️ racing as fast as possible at the U12 NVC GS. Parents brought the energy and friends cheered their hearts out 💚
It was a special day filled with speed, smiles, and the kind of community that makes ski racing so special.
Meanwhile, our youngest racers explored the mountain and found some of the best skiing of the year 💥
Conditions are amazing (just ask the parents who sneak out for runs before, after, or any time inbetween race runs 😉), and we can’t wait to do it all again!

GMVS U12s brought the energy ✨and a little sparkle ✨ to Stowe this past weekend! With glittering faces and unstoppable enthusiasm, our athletes tackled an early-morning course inspection and exciting race runs. It was a day filled with hard work, laughter, camaraderie, and competition.
A big shoutout to the coaches and families who made it all possible!

GMVS alumna and Canadian National Team athlete Ali Nullmeyer ‘16 recently inspired GMVS junior program athletes, by signing helmets and apparel, and sharing smiles.
A Middlebury College graduate and World Cup competitor, Ali’s visits to GMVS bring her into the weight room and onto the hill, where our youngest racers in the junior program and our academy athletes benefit from her expertise and passion for the sport.
Thank you, Ali, for showing our athletes what’s possible with hard work and dedication!
