Pictures from the Vernon nuclear plant’s turbine building show contaminated water stored in large bladders and even in swimming pools. But federal regulators and plant administrators say it’s a safe way to deal with the fluid until a disposal plan is in place.

Today's the day! We have two amazing presentations by Laurel Neme. One at the Joslin Library at 4pm where she will be talking about her new children's book Orangutan Houdini and the other is a FREE showing of Battle for the Elephants, a documentary about the growing problem of poaching, with a Q+A and global view on the situation by Laurel Neme after the movie at the Big Picture starting at 7pm. Can't wait to see you all there!
