We Can Help / Dear MRV neighbors,
We have entered a time of great uncertainty and financial challenge. Our local Health Center is closed and transportation is needed for medial appointments. Food prices are soaring. Medical insurance premiums have skyrocketed for many of us. This is a challenging time.

If you or someone you know in the Valley is need of emergency help for items such as rent, utilities, auto repairs, the MRV Interfaith Council may be able to help. The process is simple and confidential. Call Rev. Mark D. Wilson, 802-496-3065 to let us know how we can help.

As a supplement to your food shopping, feel free to stop in once a week at our MRV Community Pantry, at the rear of Evergreen Apartments (5308 Main St) in Waitsfield. Our hours are Tuesday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to noon and Wednesday, 4 – 6 p.m. You will be greeted by friendly volunteers as you shop for produce, proteins and dairy products as well as canned and boxed items. All we ask you is “how many people are you shopping for?”

For rides, call Free Wheelin’ 802-249-3427. Two days’ notice is requested. To schedule a ride, call weekdays between 9 a.m. and 1p.m. Rides are given all day every weekday (and in emergencies on the weekend).

For more information or to make a donation, please see our website: https://www.mrv-ic.org/

Please let us help.
