A note from Waitsburg Commercial Club President Brittany Crane:
The executive board and I have been diligently working to make our organization the best for our Waitsburg community and businesses. However, our general membership meetings were not effectively serving our members.
Therefore, we have made the decision to significantly revamp our meetings and believe that these new formats will better serve our community.
We would like to hold our meetings quarterly on the second Tuesday of each month. Our January, July, and October meetings will be luncheons, while our April meeting will continue to be our Awards Banquet Dinner. These quarterly meetings will include lunch (free for members or a low fee for non-members) and talks from local stakeholders.
The new bylaws will state "general membership meetings will occur on the second Tuesday at noon in the months of January, July, and October and the second Tuesday in April at 6 pm."
We will take a vote on this change in bylaws at a special meeting July 14th at noon. An event invite on our page will be posted soon. We can't wait to see you there.
