We meet first Monday of each month at Waikele Country Club from 12-1PM. Chartered May 1971 to primarily support the needs of the Waipahu community.

Our club is one of the 50+ Rotary clubs in Hawaii, affiliated with Rotary International.

🌱Mahalo Senator Rachele Fernandez Lamosao for inviting us to help out at the 7-acre wetlands of Waikele: transforming it from an invasive species hotspot to a productive food garden - anticipated to feed the Waipahu community through student stewardship and ancestral knowledge!

Our Club may be small but our impact is truly massive. With 13 dedicated like-minded Rotarians driven by a single purpose - service above self - we proudly celebrated multiple awards from the 2025 to 2026 Rotary year under Club President Delsie’s leadership.

The conference was fun and inspiring from start to finish; featuring tournaments, fellowship and powerful messages from Governor Josh Green, Obamas sister Maya Soetoro, Rotarian Dr. Ken Keith (Paradoxical Commandments), Rotarian Benson Medina (Hawaii District Governor) and a screening of Removed By Force (featuring our member Saxon Nishioka). The speakers insights reminded us why we serve, why we lead, and why our collective efforts matter.

We are honored, grateful and energized for what’s ahead. Here’s to another year of meaningful service and extraordinary impact!

A big thank you Waipahu High School for the hard work keeping the campus ground safe post recent storms and supporting student-run clubs, helping them find their passions! And thank you to former Waipahu High students carlo golez and Shannon Laeleia Melton for helping us manage the booth, and our newest club members, Susan & Shai, for the generous gift card prizes!

📌 August Calendar: Membership and New Club Development Month!

This month we celebrate the power of membership - the connections we build, the support we share, and the impact we create together.

On Monday, we’re honored to welcome Ho’ola Na Pua as our guest speaker. Over the years, our club has collaborated with their team in meaningful ways to support their mission of healing and empowerment. From service projects to awareness initiatives, this partnership has allowed us to stand alongside an organization making a profound difference for the vulnerable youth in Hawai’i.

We look forward to learning more on the recent updates and initiatives from Ho’ola Na Pua and continuing our shared commitment to building hope and strengthening our community. 💙

Whether you donated school supplies, volunteered your time, stopped by to encourage us, or simply helped spread the word, you made a real difference. Your generosity is a beautiful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together with a shared purpose.

Because of your kindness, the students, teachers, and staff at Waipahu Elementary will begin the school year knowing their community believes in them and is cheering them on. The smiles on their faces when we deliver these supplies will be the greatest reward.

I am incredibly proud to serve alongside such caring Rotarians and to be part of a community that consistently shows up for our keiki. Together, we’re doing more than providing backpacks, notebooks, and pencils—we’re helping build confidence, opportunity, and hope for the year ahead.

This week the West Oahu Rotary Clubs supported nonprofit organization Helping Hands Hawaii with their Ready to Learn school supply distribution in Ewa Beach, Kapolei and Waianae.

The Ready to Learn 2026 initiative will provide 3000 backpacks filled with essential school supplies to students statewide. Valued $50 each, these kits help families reduce back-to-school costs and ensure keiki are classroom-ready.

Together, we’re helping Hawai’i students start the school year equipped and confident!
