1,000 BAGS. 90 MINUTES. ONE INCREDIBLE COMMUNITY. 💗🤙🏽🌺

This is what aloha in action looks like.

Our warehouse was absolutely buzzing as an amazing crew of volunteers and Maui Food Bank staff came together with one mission: pack 1,000 bags for our community. 📦🥫💪🏽

And they CRUSHED it.

In just about an hour and a half, 1,000 bags were packed, boxed, stacked and ready to go. But the number only tells part of the story. What made this day special was everything happening around those bags — people laughing, working side by side, jumping in wherever they were needed and turning a big job into something that felt like a celebration. 🧡

That’s the Maui we love.

Different people. Different backgrounds. One community showing up for one another. That’s how we move toward a hunger-free Maui County — together. 🌺🤝🏽

To every volunteer who gave us your time, energy and aloha: MAHALO. You didn’t just help us pack food. You helped make our mission move. 💗

For 32 years, our purpose has stayed the same: nourishing lives and feeding futures across Maui, Molokaʻi and Lānaʻi. What began as a small community effort has grown into a county-wide network that shared 7.6 million pounds of food last year alone, reaching keiki, families and kūpuna in need. 🌺
