Great article by The Maui News about our camp Camp Maluhia!

Tucked into the hills of Waihee in West Maui, Camp Maluhia stands as a jewel in the community, crafted by generations of volunteers and partnerships over the course of almost 100 years. For the people who’ve taken the responsibility as the camp’s caretakers, it’s important that things stay tha...

Troop 180, from Makawao Hongwanji Mission, Assistant Scoutmaster Megan Kosaka shared the following message.

"Being reminded of recovery efforts following the wildfires, we were able to secure donated hygiene products, bottles of water, and Niosh P100 masks to make small “care packages” to help with the flood recovery for parts of Maui County in need, specifically getting delivered to Hāna Friday and Moloka`i Monday.

Each package has a handwritten encouraging note from a scout as well. This was a very productive way to spend a couple hours on Prince Kuhio Day, being able to support others, in cheerful service, as is the scout way of life."

Thank you to the scouts and leaders from T180 helping those in need, your leadership and willingness, “to help other people at all times”, is greatly appreciated!
