On Saturday, the U.S. Food & Drug Administration authorized the first COVID-19 vaccine for emergency use in the United States, and the first shipment of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine arrived in Hawaii today. The first priority group will begin to be vaccinated in the next few days. This group includes healthcare workers, residents and employees at long-term care homes, first responders, and essential workers.
