Happy International Women’s Day to our coordinators, our members, our team, and all the women before us who raised us, taught us, and guided us.

We are in awe of the incredible communities our surfing groups are nurturing, women showing up for women as they have for millennia - this time just on the beach with boards and babes.

It’s not just about surfing.

What starts on the beach can put down deep roots and grow into a sisterhood of support and care for each other. Last weekend, the Santa Cruz group gathered for a blessingway to help welcome two new baby groms into the world.

It’s not just about surfing, it’s about community taking care of community. We’re not meant to do any of this alone.

Surfing Moms is teaming up with Surf With Amigas for a Surfing Moms Surf Retreat in Nicaragua.

Join us July 4–11, 2026 at professional surfer Holly Beck’s eco-lodge for a week designed just for moms - all surf levels welcome. This all-inclusive, women-focused retreat is about reconnecting with yourself, building community, leveling up your surfing, and pressing pause on the demands of motherhood (for a whole week 🙌).
