Hi everyone! My name is Scarlett, and I’m so incredibly honored to have been named your Distinguished Young Woman of Hawaii 2027!
First, a HUGE thank you to the amazing DYW Hawaii team and everyone who worked behind the scenes to make this experience so special. From the very beginning, you made us feel so supported, encouraged, and celebrated. This has been such an incredible learning experience for all of us, and I know we’ll treasure the memories, lessons, and friendships we have made along the way for years to come.
To my fellow girls, I’m so thankful I got to know each of you. You are all unbelievably talented, smart, kind, and so much fun to be around. Thank you for all the laughs, encouragement, and backstage singing. I can’t wait for all the times we’ll get to hang out, and I’m so excited to see everything you each go on to accomplish!
To my family, teachers, friends and everyone who has supported me every step of the way, I truly could not have done this without you. I’m so lucky to have so many wonderful people in my life who believe in me and cheer me on.
I’m beyond grateful and excited to represent Hawaii at the DYW Nationals next June. I can’t wait to see where this journey takes us! 🌺✨
