On April 6th, 1966, the WHCC became a chartered member of the National Association of Hawaiian Civic Clubs and the Oahu Council, and began it's journey to preserve, protect, and perpetuate continuity of it's native culture and traditions.

Ku’u Home o Keaukaha is a song written to honor Prince Kūhiō. We sing it after every club meeting. And every time I sing it, it brings such joy to my heart that I get teary eyed. Mahalo to our Prince Kalaniana’ole.
