Another shoutout to thank each and every volunteer who helped to move, organize, and fill 600 backpacks with school supplies! The Valley-Lake Boy's Home, Inc. helped us move everything from our office to the Wahpeton Community Center in record time 💪 People supported by Red River Human Services Foundation~Wahpeton, their staff, North Dakota State College of Science nursing students, and community members helped to fill and move the backpacks 🎒, Corteva Agriscience~Wahpeton, Essentia Health~Wahpeton, and community members volunteered during the distribution. We couldn't have done it without these amazing volunteers! THANK YOU! 👏🙌

Thank you to the volunteers for your time and efforts to help make this event possible, as well as to the community members and businesses that donated money and supplies! Additionally, big thank you to Wahpeton Parks & Recreation for allowing us to use the Community Center for the event! It takes a village to coordinate and run programs like Pencils Plus - we appreciate you all!

Pencils Plus: Richland-Wilkin School Supply Drive distribution is Wednesday, August 6, and Thursday and Friday, August 7-8 Bethel Lutheran Church is hosting this giveaway!

Send your kids back to school in style!
To help us serve as many families as possible, families will be able to take 10 pieces of clothing per child in their household on Thursday. wide-ruled & college-ruled notebooks,

dry erase markers,
highlighters,
black, red, & blue pens,
Crayola crayons,
Crayola markers,
Crayola colored pencils (12pk),
big erasers & pencil top erasers.
