Wagoner Education Foundation, Inc.

Wagoner Education Foundation, Inc. P.O. Box 926, Wagoner, OK 74477-0926 Wagoner Education Foundation, Inc., was founded in 2010 by several dedicated Wagoner residents.

The Foundation was incorporated in the State of Oklahoma as a Non-Profit Corporation on July 26, 2010. Wagoner Education Foundation was formed to assist with the great things happening in Wagoner Public Schools and to allow our students even greater success. To kick off our campaign, we will be dedicating a Founder’s Plaque to recognize the first supporters of our organization. This plaque will be

mounted and on display at one of the school buildings. What better way to show your support of our teachers and students than to provide funding for special projects and equipment. We are building a foundation that will serve the community for many years to come. Your contributions will provide classroom materials and equipment not available through the general budget, to provide student funding for coursework, and for investment of funds for the future of the Foundation. Gifts may be in any amount, but those providing a gift of $ 250.00 or more by July 26, 2011, our first anniversary, will have their name on the Founder’s Plaque. This “Founders of Education” plaque will be displayed in a Wagoner school. The donations may be made by families, individuals, or corporations. These tax-deductible contributions will be used in a variety of ways. First, they will provide classroom materials and equipment (not available through the general fund) and based on teacher-identified needs and requests. Second, they will provide scholarships for Wagoner students. Third, they will be invested to provide a secure base for the Foundation. The interest earned off the principal will provide funds for Wagoner schools for years. Donations of any amount are appreciated. Your contributions to the Foundation are tax-deductible. You may wish to contribute a one-time gift. You may wish to include Foundation support as part of your annual giving. You may be an alumni and wish to honor a favorite teacher and make a memorial gift. How well the Foundation serves to meet student and teacher needs will depend on how well we, the community, give.
