📜Calling all history enthusiasts
Tomorrow, the Wagoner History Center will present "They fought like Veterans", a Black History Month presentation with guest speaker Molly Hutchins. The presentation will be on Friday, February 20th, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Doors will be open for regular business hours, 10 a.m to 4 p.m., for those who would like to explore the Wagoner History Center exhibits.

MLK Planning meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of each month at 5:30 PM. Meetings are currently held at United Church.

We are excited about the upcoming MLK activities in Wagoner!

January 18th
MLK Community Choir at 6 pm!

January 19th
10 AM: Prayer @ MLK monument
11 AM: MLK Parade/March
(Lineup at United Church)
The MLK program will follow the conclusion of the parade.

The choir performace and program will be held at United Church!

‼️There is still time to join our choir! We will practice Tuesday at 6pm at Union Baptist! Message us for details!

REMINDER MLK ACTIVITIES 2025: The Community Choir will perform on Sunday January 19th, 2025, 6PM at United Church. The Wagoner MLK Planning Committee will host the annual MLK March and Ceremony on Monday, January 20th, 2025.

-10AM: Prayer at MLK Monument located at MLK BLVD/S Wagoner Avenue/ SW 2nd Street

-11AM: March from United Church to Semore Park. The lineup will begin at 10:45 a.m. in the United Church parking lot and travel West on E Cherokee Street. E Cherokee will be closed during this time. A bus will transport marchers back to United Church from Semore Park.

-A ceremony will take place at United Church immediately following the March.

The MLK Committee presented 4 scholarships today at Wagoner High School. We were pleased to present a scholarship to Justice Steele, Jada Riggs, Randi Fulton, and Rosalia Valdelamar for their civic contributions!
