We have been in touch with a Friend who needed some help today. He has a job that follows County Fairs around the Country. The man had some luggage stolen in a bus station while headed for the next gig. The bus ticket was in the stolen bag. The company runs midway games and our Friend is employed as a contractor and the workers pay their own way. YOU bought him a ticket and a meal. No judgment and no strings.

While I do intend to remain associated with certain ultramarathons I am retired from race directing. As a result Run to Share has four “Tailgator” generators, a bunch of drink coolers, lots of cups and cutlery, roasters, coffee stuff, crock pots and a hoe bunch of other stuff. I will give this to any non profit organization for free. If you want anything for personal use or for profit I will happily accept a fair price donation for the items. Any money will go 100% back to helping those nobody else wants to.

I haven’t shared much here lately. Probably because we have been pretty busy with our Friends. Transportation is always an issue for the folks who need help. I picked up a man from MCJ recently (we won’t need to send him commissary any longer!). I offered him a meal and a smoke. He said he would rather visit with his Grandson first. These are PEOPLE my Friends working to get out of the drug, incarceration, drug, incarceration…toilet bowl life.
The man had a construction job offered (thanks to all employers who will give a hard worker a start), a valid Ohio Operator’s License but no way to get to work. Run to Share got him to work until he was able to EARN his own work be**er within a couple of days.
I still only give him a 50/50 chance at recovery but we will always have his back.
No judgment and no strings.

At Run To Share we do our best to raise funds with ultramarathon running races. We rarely ask but often also receive generous donations from unusual sources, unsolicited. It’s Manna from Heaven!
Our mission is simple but not easy. We help people who need help. We don’t have clients, donors, patients or residents. We have Friends and we try to treat them as such.
In turn we sometimes get disrespected and lied to. On occasion we have the opportunity to save lives and join families back together. No judgment and no strings.

Run To Share is rocking a new enabler! Fast Girls Running Company is taking over management of Buzzard Day Trail Races and Run with Scissors. We will continue to revive support from Canal Corridor 100 mile Endurance Run and NEO 24 this year. The Ole Buzzard will have more time to focus on Run to Share and helping anyone who needs it, no strings and no judgment.

It’s not easy to donate because we want to earn your donations by putting on Ultramarathon events. Our Friends always seem to find a way. Our rule is write the thank you before we open the envelope ☺️
Most of the time I obey the rule and we are ALWAYS THANKFUL for your kindness.
