💙📚 We are so grateful to partner with the Wadsworth Soprema Seniors! Wadsworth Older Adults Foundation

Once a month, our wonderful Board member and Book Steward, Sue, stops by with a fresh selection of books. She rotates in duplicate titles and books that haven't found a new home from our BookShelf locations, giving them a second chance to be discovered and enjoyed.

A special thank you to Ruby at the MCSAS Soprema Cafe, who helps Sue identify which books haven't been picked up. Those are the ones that get swapped out for fresh reads. It's a true community partnership, and one we're proud to be a part of.

Finding thoughtful ways to rotate our inventory is part of being good stewards of the generous donations we receive. It's the same care and heart we bring to supporting adult learners throughout Medina County.

Literacy is communication, and our BookShelf is one piece of that mission.

Some days, we have a whole social media plan.

We know what we’re going to post. We know what books we want to highlight... the sales.

We have a nice little direction for the day.

And then you walk through our doors with donations and completely ruin our plans. 😂💙

And we mean that in the BEST possible way.

Today, 📍Medina received an entire set of Percy Jackson books in fantastic condition.

Meanwhile, the 📍Wadsworth Vault hit the jackpot with a copy of The Odyssey, a three-volume 1874 edition of A Popular History of America, and two incredible pieces of Ohio history, including History of the State of Ohio, Volume II & III, covering 1805–1850.

At some point, our carefully planned day turned into volunteers standing around saying, “LOOK AT THIS!”

And honestly? We are not complaining. We are collectively in joyous awe of the generosity that comes through our doors.
