***Cavalcade of Stars June 3-5***
Regrettably Patriot500Racing will not be in attendance for this divisional race as advertised. Our driver, A.j. Myers is slowly recovering from Covid at this time. For safety of the team and those coming to see us perform we have to make this difficult decision.

Last fridays middle school visit couldn’t have gone better! Thank you to 6th grader Lexin Laubacher for putting in the work to get us there to talk about S.T.E.M. and how it applies to their 6th grade learning. Our team had a blast hanging out with all the Jackson students and staff! And with the genorosity of the Bader family at Summit Motorsports Park, we were able to give tickets to our divisional race in June to all families able to attend. Over 300 tickets were distributed! We can’t wait to see everyone again out at the track cheering us on.
Great job Lexin and thank you again to the Jackson Memorial Middle School for all your hospitality.

Round 2 in Muncie under the lights. What a great weekend. Fixed my tree problem and cut it down to my average .400 pro tree time of .020. A little more work and I’ll be back in the single digits again in no time.
Raised the rear spoiler for the night run and after the jet cars to help stick the run… didn’t work. Was skating to the middle line about the 330’ mark pushing 145mph and had to peddle the car to get back in the groove and hold the run. Spun the tires twice getting back in it and had to lift just before the 1/8 giving up the win light. What ever he did it worked and the “other guy” gave me a beating this time.
For a reference… all this happened about 145-159mph in a distance of apx. 200’ with a gap time of .25 seconds. It really is amazing how fast things happen and the ability to address, correct, and recover during a run. God I love this game I get to play in that seat!!!

Round one going up against a heavy hitter. I was slow on the tree but able to chase him down for a .03 light win.

More with our updates and upgrades:
With the help of Braskett Racing Engines we attacked the “drivers lounge” over the COVID break with some much needed attention.
We opened the “hoop” alowing the driver more room and a much safer ride. This also gave room for a full size steering wheel we have all been wanting. Additionally, the relocation of our custom shifter, delay box, and ignition panel was also addressed. A new carbon fiber transmission tunnel was built and the rest of the cockpit was dressed with carbon details that really gives a cool look!
We also replaced the fire suppression system,
the front shocks, and upgraded the Hughs 2-speed power glide transmission with a huge input shaft and complete new tr**ny. If that wasn’t enough we swapped out the converter with an all aluminum converter weighing a fraction of the 1/2 & 1/2 we were running prior. By loosing weight, adding power, gaining visibility and increasing efficiency this car is more than ready to show what he’s capable of. As for the entire P500R team, well it’s been a long layoff and to say their impatiently waiting for our first test day is probably the biggest understatement I can make!
Get ready race fans.... we are coming and we are coming FAST!!!

Well P500R fans, were ready to go this year with so many upgrades and new features on our American Pride Corvette after the long COVID layoff. Our crew chief Bob Fixel and I made the trip to Scott Braskett’s engine shop last week to bring Maximus home. We did a fire up/engine cycle and the power he’s producing is incredible. Notice the ladder swinging on the wall from the zoomie’s exhaust at well over 15’ away after shutdown! So much power here!!!!

OK Kentucky fans… You’ve been asking for this for two years now. Well we are answering your call and coming back to light the fire, destroy the tree, and melt the track! July 4 we will be at Beacon Dragway in Paducah Kentucky ready to go. We are looking forward to this event and seeing you all again. Make sure you stop by our pits for a guided tour and hang out and talk with our entire crew.
Our “American Pride” Corvette will be stronger than ever as we harness his 2200hp blown  alcohol injected, tire wadding, 2 speed pounding, catapult launching, 200+ mph raging testosterone pumping bad ass speed demon awesome red white & blue all American stick it up ur a$$ COVID beating awesome machine!!!!!!!!!
So, ... if you can handle this… BE THERE!

2nd run of the day here with a “split tree” ( the car we were running against was over 2 seconds slower so he gets a head start and then the faster car chases him down for a dialed in time). We are measuring our times here today to set up for next Saturday. We came off this run with very consistent times and a 4.46 1/8th mile pass. I adjusted the delay and my reaction time was a staggering best for me @ .002!!!!! Next for us will be another day of time test this Wednesday. We will keep you all posted on our progress. Thank you again for all the well wishes!!!
