Moose Memos…the Tribe’s October to remember went out with a whimper, but big happenings at the 2070 keep right on coming!

Wednesday 10/21 - Reminder to those that signed up for Tarot readings that they start promptly at 6:00. The sign-up schedule is behind the bar if you need to check your agreed upon time slot.

Thursday 10/22 - Thursday Light dinner starts at 5:00 pm and features a baked rigatoni dinner for $10. Stay for the Queen at 7:00. We suspect this goes without saying…

Friday 10/23 - Free pizza for the Grizzlies final regular season game at 7:00 pm.

Saturday 10/24 - one of our biggest parties of the year - Halloween! DJ Adam will keep the party moving; amaze your friends with a great costume (and maybe win $50 in the costume contest); and being a favorite appetizer to enter into our cooking contest for another $50. Club is providing Whitey’s Chili. Festivities get under way at 7:00 pm.

Sunday 10/25 - come cheer on your first place Cleveland Browns. Kickoff at 1:00 vs. Tennessee.

Between the Tribe making it an October to remember and all of our fall programming, there are many reasons to stop by the Moose soon!

Monday, 10/12- Just another Manwich Monday starts at 5:00 pm. One sloppy Joe for $2 or 2 for $3. Tribe first pitch is 8:00 pm.

Tuesday, 10/13- Tribe first pitch is 8:00 pm.

Thursday, 10/15 - Thursday Light Dinner starts at 5:00 pm and features hot Italian subs and fresh cut fries. $10 per dinner. Tribe first pitch at 6:00 pm and the Queen at 7:00 pm. Quite a lineup of edge of your seat excitement!

Friday, 10/16 - Bug’s annual Oktoberfest dinner starts at 5:30 and will feature brats, cabbage and noodles, and German potato salad priced at $12 per dinner. Tribe first pitch live from the corner of Carnegie and Ontario is at 6:00 pm. Grizzlies game will share a few screens with the Tribe starting at 7:00 pm.

Saturday, 10/17 - free sandwiches for Buckeye / Indiana game at noon. Adam and Brian host general trivia at 7:00 pm with a $50 cash prize to the winner.

Sunday, 10/18 - Browns kickoff is at 1:00 pm vs. Ravens. Enjoy the Browns beating the dirty birds with some Showcase chicken and jojos while supplies last. Feel free to bring a favorite game day munchie.

Looking ahead… the annual Moose Halloween abd costume party begins at 7:00 pm on Saturday, October 24th. Club is providing Whitey’s Chili. We are also doing an appetizer contest with cash prizes to top vote getters. Cash prizes for best costumes as well.

Moose memos for week of September 28th…

Monday, September 28th: Monday burgers start at 5:00 pm.

Thursday, October 1st: You may want to either pack some tennis shoes for the walk to and from your car, call Uber, or arrive at the club when it opens to get a parking space. Why?

1. Chef Stef’s homemade pizza served throughout the evening as the Thursday dinner.

2. An ever growing Queen jackpot. Next drawing at 7:00 pm.

3. Big monthly drawing at 8:00 pm.

4. In their 61st annual pursuit of getting to the Super Bowl, the Browns battle the Steelers at 8:15 pm with first place on the line.

Saturday, October 3rd: join us at the 2070 as the Tribe makes it an October to remember. Game 1 of the ALDS is Saturday with time TBA. What is known is the Buckeyes play Iowa at 3:30 and everyone is welcome to play general trivia with Adam and Brian at 7:00 pm with the standard $50 cash prize to the winner.

Sunday, October 4th; with no Browns game on Sunday, what better way to enjoy an early fall Sunday afternoon than on the Grizzly Pedal Bike? First come, first serve on the available seats. Please see the bartenders to reserve your spot. $20 per person for 2 hour trip.

Moose Memos for week of September 21st:

Monday, 9/21: it feels like fall and today it is! What better way to warm up with the best $3 burger in town. We start serving them up at 5:00.

Thursday, 9/24: Thursday Light dinner starts at 5:00 pm and features Chef Stef’s homemade vegetable beef soup, grilled cheese, and a treat TBA for $10. The ever growing Queen jackpot is at 7:00 pm after dinner.

Friday, 9/25: Wadsworth kicks off versus Medina at 7:00 in their Homecoming game. The Moose will provide free pizza while supplies last beginning at around 7:30.

Saturday, 9/26: Moosic Trivia and bar games returns at 7:00 pm. $50 cash prize to first place.

Sunday, 9/27: Browns try to continue their winning ways vs. Carolina at 1:00 pm. The Moose will provide JL’s Italian beans and greens stew. Feel free to bring a shareable game day munchie.

Also, starting tonight (Monday) after 6:00, sign-up sheets will be available for two exciting October events…

On October 4th, the Moose is partnering with the Grizzlies pedal bike for a two hour excursion around town beginning at 4:30 pm. $20 per person , first come, first serve on signing up. 14 person max. The club will provide chips for b**r or canned selzers for the ride for each participating member.

On October 21st, the club will be hosting another special ladies night with Virgo Vibes doing tarot card readings. $10 per person with dinner included. When you pay, please sign-up for one of the eighteen time slots between 6:09 and 9:00 pm that evening.

Both of these events are on a first cone basis.

Moose Memos for week of September 8th, or week one of the Browns 61st annual run to their first Super Bowl appearance…

Wednesday, September 9th: Floral Design Ladies Night event starts at 6:30 for the ladies that have signed up and paid. The event was limited to the first 25 ladies that signed up and paid and while it took six weeks to get there, the event is full.

Thursday, September 10th: a rare Thursday triple header of fun at the 2070. Chef Stef will be serving up her Thursday “Light” dinner starting at 5:00 pm and featuring chili and corn bread for $10. At 7:00, the queen drawing, which has crept above $30,000. Finally, and live from Art Wright Stadium, we will broadcast a rare Thursday night Grizzlies game as they take on the Solon Comets. Kickoff is 7:00 pm.

Saturday, September 12th: what better place to watch one of the biggest college games of the year, Texas vs. Ohio State, than at the Moose? Kickoff is 7:30 pm.

Sunday, September 13th: Browns vs. Jacksonville kickoff at 1:00 pm. The club will provide coneys while supplies last. As always, please feel free to bring a favorite game day munchie.

Moose Memos for week of September 1st…

Before we look ahead to September, the Board would like to thank all members who attended the all-member meeting last night. By overwelming majority vote, the membership has approved several large lodge renovations, the formation of a Moose scholarship, and changes to the monthly drawing to reflect recent IRS adjustments in the tax code.

As we flip the calendar to the new month, this is a friendly reminder that the monthly drawing will take place Tuesday, September 1, at 8:00 pm.

Thursday, September 3: Back by popular demand, the Thursday light dinner will feature Stef’s meatball splash, onion rings, and a sweet treat yet to be determined. Dinner starts at 5:00 and is priced at $10 per dinner. Oh, and that pesky queen is still waiting to be found. Will this be the week? Find out at 7:00 pm sharp!

Friday, September 4: Once again this week, we will make every effort to broadcast the Wadsworth game at Massillon Jackson kicking off at 7:00 pm.

Saturday, September 5: Ohio State kicks off at noon vs. Ball State. Come enjoy the game with friends. Trivia night with Brian and Adam returns from summer vacation at 7:00 pm with a $50 cash grand prize!

Wednesday, September 9: Ladies Night featuring Floral Design class. Starts at 6:30 pm. The Lodge is paying half the cost of the class so members can sign-up for $20 and this includes the class, supplies,catered dinner, AND IF WE FILL THE CLASS TO 25 MEMBERS, TWO FREE DRINKS PER PARTICIPANT. Right now, there are 15 members signed up. Can we get another 10 signed up between now and next Wednesday. Please consider signing up for a great event with your friendly Moose bartender.
