Our first rehearsal for the witches dance on October 22nd! Thank you, Davis Parks School of Arts for allowing us to use your studio to practice. A step-by-step guide to learn the dance is coming soon. All ages are invited to this fun flash mob dance on the Medina Square. It will be a wickedly wild time!

💙 Board Member Spotlight: Diane Dermody! 💙

Today we're celebrating Diane Dermody, Secretary of Access the Arts, and thanking her for the time, experience, and heart she brings to our Board of Directors!

Diane joined Access the Arts in 2020 after an incredible 34 years of public service with the Medina County District Library. Her commitment to giving back extends throughout Medina County, where she has served and volunteered with numerous community organizations over the years.

We are incredibly grateful to have Diane as part of the Access the Arts family and for everything she does to help us continue our mission.

Digital Art at our Medina County Juvenile Detention Center . During the class, every single kid was complimenting each other's artwork and loving their own! One kid was being released at the end of August and made SURE to ask how he would be able to get a copy of his! 💙

It is more than just a class. It gives them hope. Gives them something to look forward to. Gives them a positive experience in their days and gives them a way to express themselves. But most of all, it gives them a way to connect!

Music in the Circle - Morning Star Bluegrass Band
Come for the blueberry cobbler and ice cream, or the strawberry cobbler, or better yet the amazing bluegrass sounds of Morning Star Band! This Wednesday, August 19th at 7:00 p.m. in the Sharon Center Circle, don't miss our last concert of the summer! Concert will be moved to the town hall in the event of rain.

Painting dinosaurs was in full effect at the Lodi Family Center Summer Camp thanks to Cam Creates Art Studio ! The kids had a blast and came up with some creative colors! Thank you Cam for always making sure they have a great time! 🦕🦖
