So, we figured better do a trial run, started with chocolate. Final picture shows official taste tester approved. Next batch will be vanilla.

Another successful collaboration between
Newport Township Historical Society and Millburn Grade School 4th grade students. The students went on a 'scavenger hunt' at Millburn Cemetery to learn about ten prominent Newport Township residents buried there and after finding the correct headstone, they had to answer a question about each one. Each student group had a NTHS chaperone with them.
And, this amused me...one of the students noticed a headstone with the birth year 1867....which prompted them to do their "6,7" chant. If you know, you know.

Small town excitement January 6, 1921
Harvey O. Brown who had a farm over in the Delany Rd area was in downtown Wadsworth at Foster’s store with his team of horses when they broke loose from the hitching post and charged east up the street causing damage as they went. They were finally stopped by a couple local merchants right in the front yard of the house east of the Shields home. Foster’s store was what we now refer to as the “Tilton Hilton” on the north side of the road. This was not an uncommon occurrence.
