Our non-profit staff, board, teams, and volunteers are undertaking a comprehensive revitalization effort in downtown Wadsworth to make it a thriving and vibrant city center. Main Street America is a 40-year-old national program that effectively revitalizes historic downtowns t

Get ready for the Main Street Wadsworth July Construction Crawl: Jingle In July! 🎅🏻🔔🌞🌴 Read more down below ⬇

Main Street Wadsworth is excited to announce a new opportunity for downtown! Downtown improvement projects will eventually bring exciting upgrades to our district. While the construction timelines continue to evolve, Main Street Wadsworth sees an opportunity to begin preparing now.

Rather than waiting until construction is underway, we are launching a series of "Construction Crawls" that will take place during the already scheduled Main Street Wadsworth Wednesday Evening Farmers Markets!

Similar to First Fridays, these events are designed to establish evening, mid-week customer habits that will continue serving downtown businesses throughout future construction.

This year will serve as a pilot season to test ideas, gather feedback, and identify the programs that provide the greatest benefit to our businesses and visitors.

The Construction Crawls will take place on Wednesdays, July 8, August 12, and September 9 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.!

Main Street Wadsworth spent last Friday celebrating 50 YEARS of the Soprema Senior Center! 🥳 We’re so happy that we could be a part of this very special day! 💛

Fun Fact: The Soprema Senior Center, previously known as the Center for Older Adults, was located in downtown Wadsworth until they relocated to School Drive!

We look forward to celebrating all of the upcoming years with the Soprema Senior Center and Wadsworth Older Adults Foundation! ☺️

We are excited to introduce downtown Wadsworth Art Mural #19, a celebration of Wadsworth’s Grizzly Pride! Completed yesterday, June 13, 2026, and located on the back of Grizzly Arcade. Many thanks to everyone who made this installation possible, including the building owner for their permission, the donors who supported the public art, the MSW Design Team, City of Wadsworth - City Hall, Wemmer Painting, and the artist, Congo Art. We are so glad to have a part of Wadsworth City Schools spirit in downtown!

We are so thrilled to have Congo create mural #19 in downtown Wadsworth 😁 If you haven’t already checked it out in person (on the back of Grizzly Arcade), our wonderful artist will be posting content throughout the week on his Instagram❗️
