We deeply appreciate each and every vendor who joined the Soprema Senior Center's Senior & Caregiver Expo on October 9! Offering everything from local services and health resources, to senior living options and beyond, these outstanding organizations showed up in a big way to support local seniors & caregivers.

We thank each vendor for sharing their time, expertise, and commitment to making a difference in the lives of seniors and helping make our event a HUGE success!

A special thank you to the 100 dedicated Senior Center and comunity volunteers who gave their time and energy to make the Soprema Senior Center’s Senior & Caregiver Expo a resounding success and memorable day for local seniors! From setup and vendor assistance to greeting attendees, tearing down, and everything in between to help keeping things running smoothly, their hard work made a true difference!

What an incredible turnout at the Soprema Senior Center’s Senior & Caregiver Expo this past Friday! With an estimated over 600 in attendance, this year’s patriotic theme, Stars, Stripes & Senior Wellness - Empowering the Golden Years, truly set the tone for a vibrant, inspiring day dedicated to seniors & family caregivers in our community.

A huge thank you to the 112 organizations who packed the venue with booths full of invaluable resources, expert advice, and information. (Stay tuned for an upcoming post with pictures highlighting many of these organizations!)

Thanks to a Family Caregiver Grant from the Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging (WRAAA), we were able to make senior family caregivers our VIP guests and honored them with a special VIP experience. Thank you to the MCSAS Soprema Cafe for the delicious star-spangled lunch specials and bake sale!

Attendees were given a special bag courtesy of Summa as they entered and were also able to take advantage of free Medicare check-ups with OSHIIP, health screenings, and important vaccinations provided by the Medina County Health Department and Heidi's Pharmacy.

While the free vendor giveaways were a hit, the real highlight was the room full of warm smiles, lively conversations, and genuine connections.

This event could not have been possible without the generous support of the Wadsworth Older Adults Foundation and over 100 incredible volunteers who gave their time and energy to serve our community. (Watch for a dedicated post with pictures highlighting our Expo volunteers coming soon!)

Thank you to everyone who joined us, supported us, and helped make our 2026 Expo such a resounding success. Here’s to empowering our golden years TOGETHER!
