Freshwater Education District is seeking a passionate and dedicated
full-time Special Education Teacher to join our team for the 2026–2027
school year in our Level IV setting, ASD LICENSURE PREFERRED. This

students, allowing for individualized and small group instruction. Our
program integrates trauma-informed practices and hands-on, project-based
learning to support the unique needs of our students. The Special
Education Teacher will be supported by a collaborative team, including
a due process coordinator, mental health service providers, a social
worker, and a designated crisis team.

The salary range for this position is $50,114 to $91,160, depending on

Join the Freshwater Education District team as a full-time Special Education Program Specialist for the 2026-2027 school year! We are looking for a dedicated and passionate professional to assist our staff with special education due process requests, programming, and district-wide initiatives.

As a Special Education Program Specialist, you will play a vital role in:
● Developing and implementing innovative programs and supports
● Ensuring compliance with special education laws and assisting with due process
● Providing training, coaching, and ongoing support to staff
● Promoting collaboration and effective communication across districts

This position requires Minnesota Special Education licensure. A Master’s degree and at least three years of teaching experience are preferred.
