Remember Princess? She came to us with her litter of pups after living her entire life outside. She is now thriving in her forever home and is very loved.

An update from the adopters:
"Hi guys, I just wanted to update you on Sophie who was previously known as Princess! We are so glad we fostered her and foster failed into adoption… She has been a perfect fit for our family!!! She is so smart so loving and so beautiful
She got to go to Zorbaz via boat the other day for the first time! She loves to go down to the water to swim and loves sleeping in our bed! Thank you for finding our sweetheart."

Pippa has been waiting since January… and she’s still holding out hope that her family is out there.

The good news? She’s absolutely thriving in her foster home! She’s learning how to fetch, working on her leash manners, and has perfected one of our favorite pastimes: sitting by the window and watching the world go by.

She’s also a big fan of chasing squirrels and bunnies, so her foster family says there’s never a dull moment!

But underneath all that fun is a total cuddle bug. Pippa loves her people and wants nothing more than to be close to them. She’s the kind of girl who will happily spend the day exploring and then curl up right beside you when it’s time to relax.

Pippa is spayed, microchipped, and UTD on vaccines. She is 4 years old. Does well with male dogs but not cat or kid compatible.

Little Luna is now available for adoption!!💟

Luna has officially waited out her stray hold and is now ready to start the next chapter of her life — finding her forever family!

Luna can be a little unsure of new people and the world around her at first, but give her some gentle talking, patience, and a few pets, and you’ll start to see her sweet personality shine through. Once she trusts you, Luna is very affectionate and loves being close to her people. She’ll happily give you kisses, soak up attention, and her absolute favorite thing? BELLY RUBS!

Luna is the kind of dog who bonds deeply with her people, so she’s looking for a family willing to give her the time and patience she needs to feel safe and confident. She would benefit from continued socialization and someone who will gently show her that the world isn’t such a scary place.

She has done well with some children. Her compatibility with cats is currently unknown, and she is still working on dog socialization.

Luna is microchipped and UTD on vaccines. She is 9 months old. Husky mix.

Luke genuinely doesn’t understand why he’s still waiting...

This guy is fun, happy, easygoing, and just an all-around great dog. He’s the kind of dog who is ready to enjoy life, make you laugh, and be your best buddy.

Yet somehow… the meet & greet requests just aren’t coming...

Luke is a very relaxed, chill, and gentle boy who is easygoing and up for whatever. He can be a little on the introverted side at first, but once he’s comfortable, his affectionate personality shines through. Luke knows sit and lay down and enjoys spending time with his people. He loves snack time, being outside, going for walks, and exploring his surroundings. He can also be a goofy guy and has a fun little personality that comes out when he’s feeling comfortable. His little nub tail never stops wagging, especially when he’s happy to see you! Luke is a sweet, gentle boy who would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a laid-back dog with a loving heart.

Billy. Big. Beefy. Handsome. And somehow… not a single meet & greet.

Billy has been waiting patiently for someone to come see what a great boy he is, but so far, not one person has walked through our doors to meet him.

Billy is a big, beefy boy with an even bigger personality! This handsome tank is strong, goofy, and full of fun. He loves being outside, soaking up the fresh air, and playing a good game of fetch. Billy is a total social butterfly who loves everyone he meets. He’s outgoing, friendly, and always ready to join in on whatever fun is happening. He is currently working on his leash manners and basic commands and is eager to keep learning. With his goofy personality and big ol’ lovable self, Billy is sure to keep his family laughing and smiling. If you’re looking for a big, fun-loving adventure buddy, Billy might just be your guy!

Have you seen this boy??

He was originally found as a stray last Monday and has since escaped the finders home. He is now missing in the Wadena area and the last known location was by the Whitetail Run golf course.

His owners are missing him dearly. He is not microchipped and does not have a collar on.

With all the cleaning, laundry, kennel changes, and daily shelter life, these are things we simply can’t run without! And right now, our supply shelves are looking a little too empty.
