Maricopa County's Regional Parks Recognize Veterans With Military Service Appreciation Day

On Monday, November 11, 2024, the Maricopa County Parks and Recreation Department will recognize those who have served in the armed forces by waiving the $7 per vehicle day-use park entry for all active and inactive military personnel.

"Our veterans have made countless sacrifices to serve our country, and I could not be more grateful for their selflessness and valor," said Jack Sellers, Chairman of the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, District 1. "I'm hopeful that Military Service Appreciation Day is one meaningful way that we can thank them for their service and offer them the opportunity to enjoy the cooler weather in our beautiful regional parks across the County."

Hi Everyone:
Friends of White Tank Park will hold the Annual General Membership Meeting on Saturday, November 16th at 9:30 am in the classroom at the Nature Center, 20304 W. White Tank Mountain Road, Waddell, AZ. At this time a slate of the board of directors will be made and voted on. If you wish to serve on the Board, please come to meeting and share your experiences. Each Director serves a one year term beginning in January. After this meeting, the Board will elect Officers.

OUR MEETINGS ARE OPEN TO ANYONE AND EVERYONE 😊❤
