We ski and snowboard on Sundays beginning December 6, 2015 through February 21, 2016. All young men and women in grades 7-12 are eligible and welcome to join the Waconia Ski & Snowboard Club. This club is for ALL levels of skiers and snowboarders, beginners to expert! Lessons and rental equipment are available at the resort areas at our significantly reduced group rate. This is a preliminary schedule - although the dates and ski resorts we go to will remain the same, the destinations may vary from the above schedule. REGISTRATION FEE FOR LOCAL TRIPS:
First Session = $95 (First 4 trips)
Second Session = $95 (Last 4 trips)
Full Session = $170 (All 8 trips - $20 savings)
ADDITIONAL FEES:
Lift Ticket Each Sunday = $20**
Ski and snowboard rentals are available at the resort areas with our group discount. Typically prices range from $10-$20 for ski packages and $18-$20 for snowboard packages.
**Lift ticket fees are collected on the bus the day of the trip and are due only if you participate on that trip. Our registration fees are so reasonable because they are based upon members missing the occasional trip. Minimum sign up requirement is 35, maximum is 45, with priority given to Full Session sign-ups. Registrations over 45 will be put on a waiting list until/if enough registrations are received to add a second bus. Registrations materials must be received at the Waconia Community Education office no later than Friday, November 27, in order to be eligible for the first trip. There will be a sign up night and parent informational meeting on Monday, November 9 at 8:00 pm at Waconia High School in the Group Space D110. Detailed information on the ski and snowboard club will be discussed and additional registration materials will be handed out at this meeting.
