Today’s Eva Sophia Project Hayless Hayride was filled with everything we hoped for β€” laughter, friendship, a ride through the fall leaves, a warm fire, hot dogs, s’mores, and simply enjoying time together.

These are the moments that remind us what Building Belonging is all about. It doesn’t have to be complicated. It’s creating spaces where people can come together, be themselves, build friendships, laugh a lot, and know they belong.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made today so much fun. Our hearts β€” and our fire pit β€” were full. ❀️

We’re already looking forward to the next time we can gather together!

What a day! A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support Eva Sophia Project today, and especially to our young adults, families and volunteers who braved the cold and rain with us. At times it felt more like a monsoon than Charity Day! πŸ˜‚πŸŒ§οΈ

It ended up being a pretty quiet day business-wise, and after everyone gave it a valiant effort in some pretty miserable weather, we decided to pack things up a little early.

We’re so grateful to Tidal Wave Auto Spa for choosing Eva Sophia Project again this year and for continuing to support our mission.

And to everyone who stopped by, bought a wash, waved a sign, helped out or simply cheered us on β€” THANK YOU. πŸ’œ

πŸ’œ Help us keep Eva Sophia Programming growing! πŸ’œ

We’ve been so excited to see our programming continue to grow β€” more activities, more connections, and more opportunities for our young adults to build friendships and belong. And with that growth, we could use a few more hands! πŸ₯°

Join us for our Programming Meeting on Tuesday, September 15 at 6:30 PM at the Abelight Community Room in Victoria.

You don’t need to have experience or commit to leading every event. We’re looking for both Leaders and Helpers β€” people willing to lead an activity, lend a hand with setup and cleanup, support participants, or simply help make an event happen.

✨ Have an idea for something fun we could do? Bring it!
✨ Interested but not sure what role fits you? Come learn more.
✨ Only able to help occasionally? - We’d still love to have you.

We’ll also be talking about ideas for our October programming calendar, so this is a great time to get involved.

Mark your calendar for Friday, September 18 and come get your car washed for a great cause!
Eva Sophia Project is excited to partner with Tidal Wave Auto Spa in Waconia for their annual Charity Day.

πŸ“ Tidal Wave Auto Spa - 564 S Olive St, Waconia

πŸ’™ 100% of wash proceeds that day will benefit charities, with 50% of the proceeds from the Waconia location benefiting Eva Sophia Project!
Our young adults, volunteers and supporters will be joining the fun throughout the day β€” waving signs, helping with cars, collecting donations and sharing a little ESP spirit. And Mayor Tim Litfin is planning to join us around 10 AM!

Come get your car sparkling clean, say hello, and help us continue creating opportunities where adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities can connect, participate and belong.

Our crew is having an amazing day cheering on the Minnesota Vikings! From exploring the stadium to taking in all the excitement of game day, there are plenty of smiles all around.
