This past week, we sent 2 teams to help our neighbors in Bosque County. Our first team deployed out Tuesday night. The second team went out Thursday morning along side other departments from McLennan County. Everyone has put in a lot of hard work and many hours helping out. Today was a much needed day for some restocking and minor maintenance on Brush 321.

At a little after 2:00 on Monday, we were dispatched to a large grass fire that turned into much more than that. Thank you ROSS VFD & West VFD for the quick response yesterday afternoon and again last night. And also a Big Thank You to Teresa Griffin & Cheryl Miller for bringing water to keep everyone cool and hydrated.

Earlier today, our department responded to a grass fire that was accidentally started by a hay cutter. Due to high winds and extremely dry conditions, the fire spread rapidly, requiring a coordinated response from multiple departments.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all of the volunteer fire departments that responded and worked together to bring the fire under control. Your quick response, teamwork, and dedication are greatly appreciated.

This incident serves as an important reminder to use extra caution when operating equipment during dry and windy conditions. Stay safe, and thank you to everyone who helped protect our community.

We extend our gratitude to all our valued sponsors and attendees who supported our fundraiser today. Your contributions have made this event possible. Please anticipate individual recognition posts for our sponsors and donors.
