Super star and not so cuddly Jasper is seeking a working fella placement. He is available for adoption at Pet Circle Regional Animal Center in Waco. He won't want snuggles or pets but would love to lounge in your shop or backyard.

😾 Jasper: Not Your Average Cuddle Muffin 😾

Are you NOT looking for a snuggly lap cat? Perfect. We’ve got just the guy.

Meet Jasper, a barn cat with the charm of a gremlin and the people skills of a traffic cone. He’s not here to be your friend—he’s here to work. Rodents? Gone. Personal space? Demanded. Affection? You wish.

Jasper enjoys long walks far away from humans, staring at you with disdain and knocking things off shelves just because. He's two years old, a little over eight pounds, and heavy on the rudeness.

🏚️ Ideal Home: Your barn, workshop, warehouse, or haunted castle.
🚫 Not Ideal: Your lap, your couch, or anywhere that expects “good vibes.”
🐭 Special Skills: Pest control, intimidation, judging you silently.

Adopt Jasper and experience the joy of being ignored by a true professional.

Waco Pets Alive and our pals from The Humane Society met at to check out some great adoptable dogs and cats. Here are the cats we met.....check out this information:

****************************
We met some adorable kitty cats
today at Pet Circle Regional Animal Center. Several local animal welfare partners have been going by every couple of weeks, doing a networking walk thru, that's been AMAZING!

First let's chat the cats on campus.
1. Noel the tabby is 17. She needs a quiet home that offers hiding spots and lots of high value, tastey food. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Ready to leave today to her new home.

2. And 3. Jujubee and unknown Torti female have sarcastic ****(I am leaving this misspelling here because We All Have Sarcastic Manage-LOLand this mad me laugh way too hard) [Sarcoptic] mange which is super easy to treat. Treatment has already started. They need a foster home with a bathroom that can be cleaned up easily.
They have not yet had their spay/neuter...they've been vaccinated and microchipped. They need that foster home and within 4 weeks, will be brand new kitty cats. They are young and will recover FAST!

4. Callie is a beautiful older gal who needs that quiet space so she can warm up. Kitty lick tube treats would make her your best friend. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Ready to leave today to her new home.

📢📢📢📢📢
Here is what I need you to do for me:
1. Share this post and
2. Foster a cat from a rescue or shelter.
Or.
3. Donate to spay/neuter and community cat at Animal Birth Control Clinic
4. Sponsor an adoption fee at Pet Circle!

But SHARE, SHARE, SHARE please.

For more information on these cats, call Pet Circle at: 254-754-1454 or swing by 2032 Circle Road.

Meowy Thankful♡ 🐈

Howdy y'all~
We wanted to start share basic information regarding spay, neuter and TNR.

Here's some general information on COMMUNITY CATS.
From the community cat experts, Alley Cat Allies: Community cats live outdoors in virtually every landscape on every continent where people live. Like indoor cats, they belong to the domestic cat species (Felis catus). However, community cats, also called feral or outdoor cats, are generally not socialized, or friendly, to people. They live full, healthy lives with their feline families, called colonies, in their outdoor homes.

Did you know?👇👇
Community cats can behave friendly, feral or a mix of both. Remember, their home is OUTDOORS!
Wherever you see a community cat you know they have their basic needs met: food, water and shelter. It is up to us to have them spayed/neutered, vaccinated and ear-tipped.
That process is called Trap, Neuter and Return.

We will talk more about Trap, Neuter and Return (TNR) next week.
Have questions? Ask in the comment section below and we will get the answers.

Have you seen cats in your neighborhood with that left ear tip?

Kitten Season is here, and ABC needs OUR help to save the most fragile lives once again! 🐱

REMEMBER: A kitten’s best care always comes from its mother, but when that’s not possible, Kitten Care Kits empower good Samaritans to care for these tiny lives and keep them happy, healthy, and out of shelters.

🌟 Help ABC create 40 Kitten Care Kits for McLennan County! 🌟

2 Ways You Can Make a Difference:

🐾 Donate Supplies via Amazon Wishlist: ➡️ https://a.co/azg7ayL
Items ship directly to ABC!

🐾 Make a Monetary Donation: It costs about $45 to create one kit (thanks to bulk purchases and volunteer assembly), but ANY amount helps ABC buy essential supplies. Donate directly through their website here ➡️ https://www.animalbirthcontrol.org/donate
(Be sure to note "Kitten Kit" with your donation!)

ABC will be working to assemble these kits ASAP, and your contribution—whether a dollar or a donation of supplies—truly makes a difference. (All donations are tax-deductible.)

Help us support ABC!

Waco Pets Alive! believes that all dogs are inherently good.
We love this information from the experts over at Animal Farm Foundation!

When we focus on guesses and assumptions instead of actual facts, we end up with:

• ineffective laws and policies

• room for stereotypes, racism, and classism to dictate dog ownership and community diversity

• more dogs in shelters for a longer amount of time

what we mean when we say “all dogs are individuals".

🗣🗣🗣Kitten Season for McLennan County!!
We still do TNR instead the Winter Time. It is important to get a head start for our brutal kitten seasons.

Some things to know about outside cats:

1. Some outside cats are friendly, super friendly or not friendly at all, they are collectively called community cats. They live outdoors!

2. If you feed any outside kitty, you need to ALSO fix that outside kitty. Check with Animal Birth Control Clinic as they are our low cost/free outside kitty experts!

3. Pet Circle Regional Animal Center ONLY intakes cats that are sick or injured, neonatal or owner surrendered (owner paid a surrender fee).

This is not our shelter saying, “no,” to cats.
It is our shelter saying, “there’s a better way,” for kitties to live their best lives!

4. To rehome cats, utilize the local rehoming pages, classified adds and Craigslist.
Check this link out here to rehome owned cats:👇👇👇👇
https://www.wacoanimalguide.com/i-need-to-rehome-my-pet

5. Leave the litter. If you find kittens, leave them alone unless in immediate danger. Mom moves babies many times before they are weaned. She can only move ONE kitten at a time.
