Update from a WfC Scholarship alum!

We are thrilled to share that we will be moving to Alaska to serve with Arctic Barnabas Ministries this July!! It feels like a long time coming, but these past few months have proven that God's timing is PERFECT! We are so grateful to everyone who has partnered with us in this journey. Thank you for being a part of this chapter and stepping with us into the next!

An update from Caleb Nelson, a WfC scholarship recipient, upon his arrival in PNG:

Good morning!

It's a beautiful day in PNG! I arrived one week ago, and have been settling into life here. I realize that the email announcing my departure that I had tried to send from the Minneapolis airport last week for some reason apparently didn't make it to everyone's inbox. I'll blame it on the airport wifi :P

My travels went very safely and smoothly, with pretty much no issues. So far the first week here has been eventful, with lots of walking around centre, new sights and sounds (many of which remind me of Kenya), learning about the different departments available to the staff, getting to meet many new faces, and some initial language learning.

I plan to do a full newsletter soon, but for now I figured I'd stick to a short email with a few pictures of my experiences this first week. There's a picture from the flight up, one of the money here, one of the airstrip taken from the road to the nearby city, and a few more of the views. Hope you enjoy!

Thanks for the prayers! I'm excited to be where God has called me!
