Monday, July 28 at 11 a.m. on Baylor University’s campus.
Data-Driven Storytelling: A Hands-On Guide to Essential Data Sources
Ready to turn raw data into real insights? In this 60-minute, hands-on workshop, you’ll roll up your sleeves and dive into the world of secondary data. From demographic trends and consumer spending to local business and residential info, you’ll discover where to find the numbers—and how to actually use them.
We’ll focus on free, publicly available datasets (hello, budget-friendly research!), but also give you a peek into premium sources. Whether you're a beginner or just looking to sharpen your skills, you’ll walk away with the confidence to access, analyze, and apply data to real-world challenges.
Come curious—leave data-savvy.
When: Monday, July 28, 11:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
