Our last meeting of the Toastmasters year was led by Chris Pryor, our Toastmaster. His theme was "Relax and Embrace."

After opening with an invocation and leading us through the pledge of allegiance, Chris called on Tony Stewart to tell us why he is enthusiastic and lead the cry of the early bird.

Chris then introduced the General Evaluator (Rosemary Horton), Ah Counter and Grammarian (Tony Stewart), Timer and Ballot Counter (Steve Martin), and Zoommaster (Randy Hickerson).

The prepared speech portion of the meeting began with Miles Phillips telling us about people who were influential in his life during his speech, "Becoming Me - Reflecting on the Influencers of my Life." The speech was insightful and helped us learn more about Miles. The second speech, "3rd Term," was delivered by Landon Lewis. It was a reflection on his past year as President and served as a thank you to all of the people who helped him and the club throughout the year.

Gary Lee Webb, our Table Topics Master, led the impromptu portion of the meeting (Table Topics). He asked interesting, theme-related questions to Jenny Riddle, Brandon Savell, and Randy Hickerson and received enthusiastic and thoughtful responses.

The evaluation portion of the meeting was led by Rosemary Horton. She began by calling on Brandon Savell and Celeste Castro to provide feedback on Miles' and Landon's speeches, respectively. Each evaluator used a different approach but both provided specific and useful feedback to the speakers. Tony Stewart provided a short and sweet Grammarian report and a detailed Ah Counter report then Rosemary closed this portion of the meeting with a sweeping analysis of the entire meeting.

The meeting ended with Steve Martin announcing the best speaker (Landon Lewis), best Table Topics Speaker (Jenny Riddle), and best evaluator (Brandon Savell) and Chris asking for feedback from our guests.

Yesterday's meeting was led by Gary Lee Webb who served as our Toastmaster. His theme was "Sharing the Prize."

After opening with an invocation and leading us through the pledge of allegiance, Gary Lee called on Brandon Savell to tell us why he is enthusiastic and lead the cry of the early bird.

After providing a little humor with his joke of the day, Gary Lee introduced the General Evaluator (Brandon Savell), Ah Counter and Grammarian (Steve Martin), Timer and Ballot Counter (Rosemary Horton), and Zoommaster (Chase Robinson).

During the prepared speech portion of the meeting, Tony Stewart provided us with a “Freestyle Swimming Tutorial.” It was an informative speech filled with instruction, demonstrations, and a short video.

Landon Lewis, our Table Topics Master, led the impromptu portion of the meeting. He asked Chris Pryor what sharing the prize means to him, Celeste Castro for tips and advice on sharing the prize, and Brandon Savell to tell us a story about how he has shared the prize.

The evaluation portion of the meeting began with the General Evaluator, Brandon Savell, calling on Randy Hickerson to provide feedback on Tony's speech. This was done in a thorough manner and left Tony with things he did well and places to improve. Steve Martin’s detailed Ah Counter and short and sweet Grammarian reports followed. Brandon Savell closed this portion of the meeting with feedback on different parts of the meeting.

Rosemary announced the best speaker (Tony Stewart), best Table Topics Speaker (Brandon Savell), and best evaluator (Randy Hickerson) then Gary Lee Webb closed by asking for feedback from our guest (Celeste Castro).
