Do you know an MCC alum who has made a difference in their profession, community, or beyond? Or a graduating student whose leadership and service have left a lasting impact on campus? Now is the time to recognize their achievements.

The McLennan Community College Foundation’s Highlander Alumni & Friends Association is accepting nominations for the 2026 Distinguished Alumni Award and Distinguished Leader Award through July 31. The Distinguished Alumni Award honors former students whose accomplishments bring distinction to MCC, while the Distinguished Leader Award recognizes a 2025–2026 graduating student who exemplifies leadership, academic excellence, and service.

Join us for the MCC Highlander Alumni Reunion on Thursday, June 11 at Cameron Hall for an evening of connection, nostalgia, and Highlander pride!

Enjoy a burger basket meal, alumni giveaways, door prizes, and time to reconnect with fellow alumni and friends of MCC. Registration also includes this year’s retro inspired alumni shirt and custom aluminum cup.

Since 1965, Mclennan Community College has played a key role in expanding access to higher education in Waco. As the city's first community college, MCC opened doors for generations of local students and helped shape the region's workforce and identity.
