Celebrating 20 Years of Art at the Arc 🎨🖼️🖌️

Our participants have been working with Cultural Arts of Waco to create their own works of art and we are inviting you to an exhibition to see all of their work in person and have the opportunity to purchase the art to take home with you.

The exhibition will be come and go and will be free and open to the public.

Happy Tenth Anniversary to Reece Flood’s hat 🧢
Reece Flood rocked his hat from the 2016 golf tournament which is a testament to his community support. We are so grateful for all of the Kiwanis of Waco but wanted to thank Reece specifically for all he does to support the Arc and the Waco community. This was the largest golf tournament in history and it’s made possible because of the Reeces of the world.

What a day on the greens! 🏌️ The 2026 Kiwanis Golf Tournament made history with its largest turnout yet, 27 teams of 4 showing up to support and the Arc of McLennan County. We’re so grateful to Kiwanis for including our participants in the fun, from cheering on the golfers to cruising around in the golf carts, it was a day to remember🛺

We are so excited to announce that we have officially received the charter to be the Waco chapter of Aktion Club! The only thing left to make things official was a signature from our President, Tyson.

Aktion Club is an initiative of Kiwanis Club of Waco to create opportunities for adults with disabilities to get involved in their communities by volunteering.

Come hang out with us and Animal Birth Control Clinic at Levitt AMP Waco Music Series for the last show of the season!!

We’ve got free goodies, live music, and food trucks, the only thing missing is you!

We love the Animal Birth Control Clinic for so many reasons but today we’re especially grateful that they let us sit with them under their tent when it started drizzling a bit. 💕

From Waco to Wyoming!

Our Executive Director, Coleen, is visiting Casper, Wyoming and took the opportunity to stop by The Arc of Natrona County! Before she left, our participants handmade cards to send along with her, a sweet reminder that the Arc family stretches far and wide!

The Arc operates chapters in 577 cities across the country, and we love getting to connect with our fellow chapters! It’s a beautiful thing to see the same mission of inclusion and support at work no matter where you go.

And of course, Coleen made sure to take in some of Wyoming’s breathtaking scenery along the way! 🏔️
