Maggie Montgomery is the recipient of our Heart of Inclusion Award. She received not one, but two nominations that spoke incredibly highly of her. She goes above and beyond in the classroom teaching students with various disabilities, including Down syndrome. She has also created an internship for a person with Down syndrome at her school! Some of the kind words her nominators shared include:

“Maggie goes the extra mile to provide a truly individualized education.”

“She [uses] every accommodation she can think of with our school’s highly limited budget!”

Thank you, Maggie, for loving and serving those with different abilities and our Down syndrome community!
