Happy Friday, everyone! Congratulations on making it through two weeks of classes. :)

Since we'll all be rested up with our long weekend; SEPTEMBER 9TH, next Wednesday, will be our GENERAL INTEREST MEETING at 7 PM! Come out to learn more about how you can get involved, and BRING FRIENDS that you think might be interested too! There will also be snacks. Come for snacks.
I will announce the interest meeting location closer to the date, but mark your calendars now!

For those who are interested, there will also be a gerontology luncheon on Washington Ave after out meeting, at 10 PM.

Classes for senior adults in Waco if you know anyone interested. MCC Continuing Ed offers “Better with Age” Fitness classes starting August 28 – You can improve your overall fitness level – even if you’ve been inactive for a while. Instructor Hanna Vaughan teaches aerobic dance and fitness for adults age 55 and older. Featuring music from the ’50s through the ’80s, this easy-to-follow class focuses on improving cardiovascular fitness, flexibility and relaxation in an enjoyable atmosphere. Please bring a floor mat and, if you’d like, two 1-pound hand weights. Class meets Fridays from 11:30am to 12:30pm August 28th to October 2nd and October 16th to November 20th. Cost is $29.
