✨ Mission Monday ✨

Waco Symphony’s educational outreach programs provide memorable, up-close musical experiences, master classes ahead of UIL competitions, and interactive Q&A sessions where students learn about the importance of dedicated practice college pathways, and career opportunities in music.

Last season both of our Adopt-a-School partners Lake Air Montessori and Tennyson Middle School welcomed visits from symphony musicians.

Through this initiative, the Waco Symphony is also able to directly fund the purchase and repair of instruments and music for underfunded music programs in Waco ISD.

We were so happy to receive these notes from some of the students and look forward to our future visits! We “cooked!” 🎼

We're excited to be part of KWBU Summer Nights: Arts on Tap tonight at Brotherwell Brewing! 🎶

Join the Waco Symphony Jazz Trio for an evening of live music, and be sure to stop by our Instrument Petting Zoo where kids (and kids at heart!) can get up close with orchestral instruments and try them for themselves.

Waco Cultural Arts Fest will also be on site with kids' arts and crafts, and food will be available from The Quesadilla Factory and Churros Time.

So be sure to swing by for what is shaping up to be another stellar Summer Night with KWBU and Brotherwell Brewing.

What does the beginning of a concert sound like to you?

Is it bold? Dramatic? Joyful? Unexpected?

For this competition, students are invited to compose a concert opener. Something that sets the tone and draws the audience in from the very first note.
