Join GTG Outdoors for a hands-on, overnight master class designed to teach you everything you need to plan, set up, and enjoy your own camping adventures — no experience required.

30 camping spots, or just come during the clinics and plan for your next campout!

Spend a weekend at the scenic Mother Neff State Park, one of Texas’s oldest and most beloved parks, where our expert guides will walk you through every essential camping skill. You’ll pitch your own tent, cook over a campfire, navigate trails, and learn how to explore safely, sustainably, and confidently.

All instruction, materials, and meals are included (Friday dinner through Saturday dinner).

This is what your support looks like — kids from all backgrounds sharing a sunset, discovering the outdoors together, and finding joy in places both close and far from home.

At GTG Outdoors, we believe that everyone deserves access to nature, adventure, and community, not just the ones who can afford it. That’s why, for four years straight, while the prices of everything else have gone up, we’ve lowered our prices every single year for every level of experience.

A 5-day Big Bend trip that once cost $500 now costs just $250.
Because financial barriers shouldn’t decide who gets to explore nature.

Sacrifices made this possible. Our co-founder, Gabe, stepped into an additional full-time role and partnered with Summit School so that every GTG trip could be priced BELOW cost. But while Gabe can help support his family, we can’t also offset GTG’s organizational costs alone.

Our van is what makes all these moments possible. And today, on Giving Tuesday, we are just $3,000 away from paying off the auto loan that lets us keep transportation free for families.

Event Update: New Date & Time!

Due to the thunderstorms expected on Saturday, the Mt. McLane Races and Keep Waco Outdoors EXPO have been moved to THIS Sunday, October 26th, with a new time of 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM.

Join us Sunday for a great day outdoors with races, vendors, food, and family fun at McLane Stadium’s South Plaza!
