WARMING CENTER — The Sul Ross Community Center (401 N 15th Street) will act as a 24–hour warming center from Thursday, December 22nd, at 3:00 pm until at least Saturday, December 24th, at noon. These hours may be extended based on the weather conditions.

Cots, blankets, MREs, and bottled water will be provided. Pets can join you in the warming center as long as they are in a crate.

Baylor students and volunteers are preparing for their second annual 58:10 Project to package 100,000 meals in only 3 hours for anyone in need.

Ascension Providence will host a free healthcare clinic at The BASE, located at 4401 Bosque Blvd on Saturday, August 13, 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Ascension Providence will provide free medical care including primary care, mammograms, COVID-19 vaccinations, lab services, prescriptions, lung cancer screening, and other healthcare services. Nearly 30 community partners will also be on site to offer additional resources, including HOT Workforce Solutions, Mission Waco, Caritas, Salvation Army, Waco PD and many others.
