Topics for discussion include: 2024 Annual Financial Report, 2025 Assessment collections, ARC and Maintenance reports, status of the OIE Septic to Sewer conversion project, recent HOA legislation requirements. All owners are welcome.

Dear Homeowners:
The latest estimate for restoration of electricity for the OIE gatehouse and a resident on Riverview Court has been changed to Tuesday, October 15 at 11 p.m. This change should apply to all of us unless they find more damage than expected. Just a quick reminder to put out your garbage, recycling, and yard waste tonight for collection tomorrow. Have a good evening.

FPL estimates 95% of customers without power will be restored by Thursday, October 17.

Due to the State of Emergency, the Board has suspended the rule against contractors using gas-powered equipment on Saturday in order to support the cleanup from Hurricane Milton.

Our community is thankful to have survived the tornadoes that touched down prior to landfall of Hurricane Milton. A total of 4 tornadoes have been confirmed to have touched down in our County. Search and Rescue operations commenced immediately in Central Beach and Quail Valley River Club where direct impacts occurred. Debris from the tornado such as insulation and roof shingles were dropped on Orchid Isle as the debris field passed over us. We are in the process of cleaning the streets and Common Areas of Live Oak branches and other plant materials. If you want to know how your property weathered the storm, reply to this post. No damage occurred to the infrastructure or our majestic Live Oak trees.

Tornado touched down in Wabasso. Debris field blew over Orchid Isle and dropped insulation and roof shingles on several properties. All is well. Be cautious with flooding.
