Youth in grades 9+ are encouraged to apply to be a County Ambassador! This is a fun opportunity for older youth to take on county-wide leadership roles and grow as individuals. Activities will include leading youth programs for younger kids and planning service/outreach events to encourage more families to join 4-H.

If youth were ambassadors this past year, they will need to fill out the form again, as it will contain helpful information for the upcoming 4-H year.

Watch for an email from Claire after the September 15th deadline with information for the first meeting!

Wabasha County Travel Exchange officially started yesterday. We welcomed Oneida County 4-H from New York. This week, they will be busy exploring our county and other parts of Minnesota.

Last Thursday, a group of Wabasha County 4-H'ers spent the day in Plainview exploring all things Farm-to-Table! 🌱🚜

Youth had a hands-on learning by making their own jars of refrigerator pickles, creating homemade nachos with fresh, locally grown ingredients, learning how to build a healthy plate, and decorating their own aprons.

To wrap up an amazing day, we were joined by the Wabasha County Dairy Princesses, who taught us all about the dairy industry while helping us make delicious homemade ice cream! 🍦🐄

It was a fun-filled day of learning, creating, and discovering where our food comes from!
