Big improvements are right around the corner at the Wabash County YMCA!

Don't blink — our new one-way traffic pattern could be arriving sooner than you think!

As part of upcoming parking lot improvements, you'll soon notice:
✅ New one-way traffic flow
✅ Safer pedestrian crossings
✅ Reduced traffic conflicts
✅ Fresh seal coat
✅ New angled parking spaces for easier parking

When the change happens, watch for the new entrance and exit signs throughout the parking lot. The goal is simple: create a safer, smoother experience for everyone — especially our kids, families, and pedestrians.

We'll share more information as soon as the installation date is finalized. Until then... keep an eye out!

If your child is entering 1st, 2nd, or 3rd grade, don’t miss this FREE opportunity through the Wabash County YMCA.

As we continue getting to know our new CEO, Steven Stanfield, we asked him:

"How did your YMCA journey begin?"

"My YMCA journey began while helping my mother recover physically."

Steven shared that years ago, his mother was facing health challenges, and he began accompanying her to the YMCA as part of her recovery process. What started as supporting a family member soon became something much more.

Through that experience, he saw firsthand how the YMCA impacts lives, strengthens families, and serves as a place where people can improve their health, build relationships, and find support during life's challenges.

That experience sparked a deeper connection to the YMCA mission and ultimately led him down a path of YMCA leadership and service.

As Steven prepares to join the Wabash County YMCA on July 13, we're excited to continue sharing the experiences that shaped his journey.

The Wabash County YMCA is inviting local churches to participate in our Co-Ed Adult Softball League and Co-Ed Adult Kickball League!

This is a great opportunity to build fellowship, connect different generations, get active, and have some fun outside of Sunday mornings. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just looking for a reason to laugh with friends, we'd love to see your church represented on the field.
