Healing often begins with a conversation.đź’™

In today's Love Ambassador interview, Corynn Hill talks with Bailey Winget, one of our therapists, about what she loves most about her work and the impact of showing up for young people each day.

We're grateful for the caring professionals who help students find hope, healing, and a path forward.

"We have come to realize that this was never about us.

It was not about us learning lessons, becoming these incredible parents, or earning "extra jewels" in our crowns in heaven.

This was about three teenage girls maintaining a connection with each other and their biological family."

This month, we're sharing Zach and Andie Bishop's testimony that they shared with their church community. Here's an honest reflection on the hard and holy work of opening your home to children in crisis.

Their story is yours to read: https://lnkd.in/eaH7PF8v

"The moment second chances cease is the moment we have obtained perfection, which none of us has achieved."đź’™

Brian Cook - a friend of Josiah White's - shared these words as he reflected on what second chances means to him.

That honesty is exactly why his voice matters in this series. Brian knows that every person is still growing, still learning, still becoming. And he trusts Josiah White’s because he sees that same belief lived out here every day. We don’t expect perfection. We walk with people as they try again, heal again, and rise again.

Brian’s reminder grounds us in the truth that second chances aren’t rare moments.

We invite you to follow along as more stories unfold and more voices share what a second chance has meant in their journey.

đź’™ Celebrating Our May Employee Recognition Winner, Nicole Roberts!

Each month, Josiah White’s staff nominate coworkers who go above and beyond while living out our Core Values: humble, effective, mission-driven, Christian, professional, and resilient.

This month, we’re proud to recognize Nicole Roberts for exemplifying what it means to be effective. Nicole was nominated for her leadership in developing the new Families First training for our Family Preservation staff. This has been a significant undertaking, and Nicole’s dedication, expertise, and collaborative spirit have been instrumental in bringing this project to life.

Congratulations, Nicole, and thank you for the impact you make every day!

And thank you to all of our nominees who help make Josiah White’s a place where people encourage one another, serve with purpose, and advance our mission together.

Today, our clinical team enjoyed a stained glass art-making session as part of the Youth Worker Well-Being Project Grant awarded to us by the Indiana Youth Institute.

Throughout the past year, this team has had opportunities to participate in activities such as massages, kayaking, axe throwing, hiking, and now stained glass art—all designed to promote wellness, reduce stress, and encourage self-care.

We are incredibly grateful for this generous investment in our staff. When those who care for children, teens, and families are equipped to care for themselves, they are better able to show up with energy, compassion, and excellence for those they serve.

A special thank you to The Glasserie, Katy Gray for leading our team in such a creative and meaningful experience!đź’™

🚙💙 Sometimes the best learning opportunities come with four wheels and a whole lot of excitement.

We recently received a generous donation of a 6-seater UTV, and you can already see the difference it's making.

The UTV will help transport students to and from work sites across campus as they participate in GTFL (Growing Teens For Life) programs and other hands-on learning opportunities. Whether they're helping with campus beautification projects, caring for animals, or preparing for events like the 4-H Fair, this gift allows staff to move students more efficiently and spend more time focused on the work that matters.

Thank you to everyone who invests in the children, teens, and families we serve. Gifts like this support meaningful experiences that help young people develop practical skills, responsibility, and confidence.đź’™

đź‘‹ Welcoming New Faces to the Team

We're excited to introduce Aubrey Till (Intern), Josiah Smith (Family Teacher), and Quashana Seals (Family Preservation Manager) as the newest members of the Josiah White’s team!

Each brings unique gifts and a heart for serving children and families, and we're grateful to have them join our mission.

We are deeply grateful for Brotherhood Mutual’s support of this year’s Spiritual Life Benefit Dinner.

Their generosity helps create a space where students can experience hope, healing, and new possibilities. When partners choose to invest in this event, they are investing in the spiritual growth of young people who are learning to believe in their own future again.

Sponsorship comes with meaningful ways to stay connected to the mission, and it plays a vital role in shaping the experiences our students receive throughout the year.
