☀️ Summer Fest 2026! 🇺🇸

This afternoon, team members from across the state came together for food, fellowship and plenty of fun at Summer Fest! With a patriotic theme, the afternoon included a dunk tank, food trucks, a co****le tournament, and lots of laughter.

The work we’ve been entrusted with is sacred and important, and we’re grateful for the opportunity God gives us to be part of it. But we also know that we aren’t meant to do this work alone—or without rest.

Today was a chance to step away, recharge and pour into the relationships that make this community special. We’re thankful for the people God has brought together to serve, grow and walk alongside one another.💚

👋 Welcoming New Faces to the Team!

We’re excited to welcome four new members to the Josiah White’s community:

✨ Graham Johnson — Maintenance Tech/Grounds Keeper
✨ Micah Dale — Family Teacher
✨ Brooke Denham — Vocational Coach
✨ Rebecca Zuberbuehler — Associate Family Specialist

Each of them brings their own skills, experiences, and heart to the work we do, and we’re grateful they’ve chosen to be part of the Josiah White’s team. We’re looking forward to seeing how God uses their gifts and their work to make a difference in the lives of the children, teens, and families we serve.

Sometimes a wagging tail, a gentle nudge, and a little four-legged companionship can be part of the healing process. Dea Dea has a special way of bringing comfort, connection, and a little joy wherever she goes.

We’re pretty lucky to have her around!

Because every act of service, every word of encouragement, every prayer and every task—big or small—can be part of the work God is doing here.

Hope is planted in the everyday moments—through a conversation at 50 East Garden Center & Café, a word of encouragement in the cottages, or a truth shared in chapel. We may plant and water, but ultimately, it is God who brings the growth.

I Walk With Fosters Color Walk is almost here!

On Saturday, August 29, I Walk With Fosters is a 1-mile walk to bring awareness to kids in foster care, the families called to foster them, and the need for more foster parents. This FREE, family-friendly event will feature food, family activities, and fun for all ages.

💙As an implementing partner of CarePortal, seeing local churches uplift families in need, no matter the barriers that might stand in the way, is truly love in action!

Yesterday, amidst all the flooding, LaFontaine Christian Church delivered a car seat to a family in a home surrounded by floodwater. To reach them, they had to walk through the water, soggy feet and all! Because sometimes serving Jesus means getting your feet wet.

We are an implementing partner of CarePortal in nine Indiana counties: Wabash, Miami, Fulton, Elkhart, Cass, Grant, Huntington, St. Joseph, and Adams, serving as a bridge between local congregations and families in need.
