The Voorheesville Community Alliance for Healthy Choices is going to start its park series on February 9th! The VCA wants to bring us together for some good, clean fun by hosting 6 events per year open to every member of the community. Some events being discussed are an ice skating party, sledding, drive-in movie, and much more! Delicious treats and beverages will accompany each event. We hope you and your family can join us, both as guests and volunteers! It takes a village. And the Village of Voorheesville has a rich sense of community and connection. The VCA meeting scheduled tonight at 6 has been CANCELLED

The Sweethearts and Heros program has not! Hope to see you at the PAC at 7! It’s an impactful program about bullying and other related issues. Our children saw a content-appropriate version today during healthy choices day at school.

Good morning! Tonight we have double the fun in store for you. The monthly meeting of the VCA is at 6 in the HS library, followed by a parent level presentation by Sweethearts and Heroes. Your children would have been exposed to the same info during the day. Come one come all!

REMINDER: The Community Alliance for Healthy Choices will have a meeting Monday, September 9th at 6:00 p.m. in the High School Library. All community members are invited to attend.

Greetings! We cannot believe summer is coming to a close.

As usual, we will be holding our meetings the same dates as the BOE meetings. Ours will start at 6pm at the high school library, followed immediately after by the BOE meeting at 7. The dates are: 9/9, 10/7, 11/4, 12/9, 1/6, 2/10, 3/9, 4/6, 5/11, and 6/8.

We hope you can make it! In addition to providing scholarships to students who have shown exemplary commitment to the community and their fellow students in making and maintaining healthy choices, we also contribute to the education of students and parents via school programs and lectures.
