We're grateful for so many composers who have written music specifically for us to sing and have performed with, including Karen Siegel. Thank you, Karen, for joining us online last month and for remembering our special relationship with Alice Parker, whose "generosity of spirit" has been a gift to all of us.

Farewell Alice Parker. I didn't know her well, but I enjoyed the opportunity to learn from her at Chorus America conferences, and I appreciated her generosity of spirit. It's hard to overestimate her impact on the choral community. I know she will be missed by the singers of Joyful Noise, who sang happy birthday to her at their recent concert, and to whom she has been a good friend.
