The Freemasons from Volcano, California are holding their annual Cioppino Dinner on Sunday, February 16, 2025. It will be at the American Legion Hall in Jackson, Ca. with social at 4 pm and dinner served at 5pm. The cost is $45 for each ticket and it is all you can eat. Cioppino is a fisherman's stew of seafood (Crab, Shrimp, Clams, Red Snapper, White Fish, Sword Fish and a couple other ingredients in a rich tomato base) and the recipe that we use is an old one that was handed down to a now deceased member of our Lodge, Del Mitchell (The dinner is a memorial to his memory). This dinner helps our Lodge to support philanthropies in our area. Philanthropies such as: Our Bikes for Books for four of the Elementary Schools in our county. College Scholarships for graduating seniors from our High Schools. And our Teacher Appreciation program for four of the Elementary schools. Our California Grand Master will be visiting Ione Lodge No. 80 Tomorrow (Monday, October 21, 2024) evening for their stated meeting.

Then next month, November, he will visit Volcano Lodge for our Stated Meeting.
