Hi there, this is important information about one of our own, sent by the Post Commander

Judy Leonardi, a devoted mother, grandma, and supporter of American Legion Baseball, recently suffered a heart attack while out of state. She’s currently in the ICU after multiple surgeries, and her family is facing significant medical expenses.

This fundraiser is just getting started, and sharing helps so much in these early days. Even if you can’t donate right now, a quick share can help it reach someone who may be able to support Judy during her recovery.

Come on out and welcome a hero home! 🇺🇸

Retired U.S. Navy Captain Royce Williams, a proud member of VFW Post 3795 in San Marcos and American Legion Post 416 in Encinitas, was awarded the Medal of Honor last night during the State of the Union. Now 100 years old, Captain Williams earned our nation’s highest recognition for valor after facing seven enemy aircraft alone during the Korean War, shooting down four Soviet MiGs in one of the most extraordinary aerial battles in U.S. Navy history.
