Boy Scout Troop 722 Vista, CA Chartered since 1990 by St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Vista CA

Our Troop has camped high in the mountains and retuned safely within a white out snow storm using a GPS to stay on the trail. We have camped in the desert in 60 mile-per-hour winds and survived comfortably within our tents. These are extremes but most adventures are very enjoyable like lazily canoeing down the Colorado River during warm days or backpacking across Catalina Island and along the coast with the great views. We have also cooled off in the spray of the pools below Havasupai Falls in the Grand Canyon on a summer's day. Boys have the opportunity to go to summer camp and learn to sail, motorboat, shoot a sh***un or make an arrow and shoot a target.
