Lifeline Community Services is honored to receive a $250,000 grant from San Diego Foundation's Unity Fund to help sustain our su***de prevention efforts.

Each year, this program reaches 6,000โ€“10,000 young people across nine school districts, helping identify youth at risk, connect them with trusted adults, and ensure them and their families have the support they need.

With 1 in 6 high school students reporting serious thoughts of su***de, this work is more important than ever.

Thank you San Diego Foundation for investing in the well-being of San Diego's youth and families.

Weโ€™re honored to announce that Lifeline's afterschool program, Club Crown Heights, has been named a Bright Futures 2026 grantee by the Dr. Seuss Foundation and San Diego Foundation.

This grant directly supports our early literacy work, helping students build strong reading foundations that extend beyond the classroom, and open doors to futures filled with opportunity.

In fact, 98% of students participating in Club Crown Heights report feeling safer and more engaged in their community. Weโ€™re grateful to the Dr. Seuss Foundation and San Diego Foundation for their investment in the next generation.

What a sweet way to spend a Sunday! ๐Ÿ“ We had a great time connecting with the community at the Vista Strawberry Festival. It was wonderful to meet many new people, share what Lifeline is all about, and be part of one of North County's most beloved traditions.

Thank you to everyone that stopped by to say hello, and congratulations to the Vista Chamber of Commerce for putting together such a fun gathering. ๐Ÿ’š

We are angry and heartbroken. Yesterdayโ€™s attack against the Islamic Center of San Diego was horrific; no one should ever experience violence or hatred because of their faith or identity. Lifeline stands in solidarity with our friends, neighbors, and the broader Muslim community impacted by this act of violence and hate.

Acts of violence such as this can be deeply frightening and traumatic for entire communities, especially for young people who should not have to question the safety of their school, community spaces, or places of worship. The emotional impact of these events is felt long after the immediate crisis.

Until we are all safe, none of us are safe.

To our Muslim friends and neighbors: we see you, we stand with you, and we remain committed to creating communities where every person lives free of fear and is supported no matter their beliefs.

Lifeline remains committed to providing culturally competent, trauma-informed mental and behavioral health services. We stand alongside individuals and families navigating complex circumstances and help them heal and build connections.

If you or someone you know is struggling in the aftermath of this incident, Lifelineโ€™s mental and behavioral health teams are here to provide support and care.

We showed up at the San Diego State University Health and Human Services Careers Expo to connect with the next generation of changemakers. It was great meeting students and alumni exploring careers in behavioral health, social services, and community wellness, the kind of work we live every day at Lifeline.

If you stopped by our table, thank you for the conversation. And if you missed us, we'd still love to connect. Visit lifelinecs.org to learn how to get involved.

Itโ€™s official! ๐Ÿ’š

Thanks to Jamul Casino Resort guests who rounded up their slot ticket change, Lifeline received over $12,000 to support youth and families across San Diego.

Congratulations to our friends at Meals on Wheels San Diego County and Sharia's Closet who were right there with us. Being recognized alongside you is a reminder of how much is possible when strong community partners come together.

Thank you, Jamul Casino Resort, for making this possible and for investing in local organizations. Your commitment to family and community is clear in everything that you do, and it makes a meaningful difference for the youth and families we serve. ๐Ÿ™
